For electoral harm reduction purposes this is actually sucks tho… Thinking back to how stressed out and legitimately fearful my sister’s American trans gf was over the supreme court’s vote on transgender workplace discrimination, it just reminds how having another blatant fascist on the supreme court will have immediate and literally life-threatening consequences to vulnerable groups. The court is lost without a packing scheme. That’s been true for a while now.
I think the Obergefell decision is in serious jeopardy of being overturned now.
