I get that it’s exploitative cause it’s adding employment relationships to NFT bullshit, but at a very literal level what is being produced here?

Afaik the main draw of NFTs and crypto in general is that you get all the benefits (not sure what these are) and drawbacks (losing exponentially* more money than you initially paid) of speculative economics and produce nothing but carbon emissions.
