Since this is at the top of active, take notes on how the alt-right radicalizes casuals. We could stand to learn a thing or two on how they reached casual right-wingers to help us with radicalizing liberals. :P

where my positive attitude hurts you to the point of attacking the intelligence of a comrade

It’s the saccharine nature of the “bloom-posting” rhetoric that is what disgusts me. It amounts to nothing more than jerking off over how we’re going to be able to change things, no different from what the Resist liberals do on Twitter, rather than waking up and realizing things are broken in an fundamentally unfixable way, then preparing how to respond and support each other through it.

It could easily be naiivety though, the world hasn’t fully worn all of us yet.

Ah yes. Nothing says “support each other” like insulting the intelligence of a comrade, justifying it by saying you don’t like their positive outlook, and generally bringing morale down. If things are as “fundamentally unfixable” as you say and we’re all fucked, why be an ass and bring others down when you could be silent and just let fascism and/or climate change fuck us all and make your point for you - why add to the despair? Why bother figuring out how to respond at all if it’s unfixable? You’re welcome to suggest what we could do to improve the situation in a meaningful way without shitting on your comrades. We’re all going through the same shit right now, there is no reason to be so condescending. And since you’re interested in “supporting each other”, I cordially invite you to participate in the mutual aid community when you’re done doomer posting and actually want to do literally anything to help someone else. :)

Inb4 “the mutual aid community is shit and you’re a naive piece of shit for even trying such a thing on this website.”

generally bringing morale down

Sorry to say, but it’s not some poster on chapo chat “bringing morale down” independent of reality.

Literally saying “look around” is not some contrived doomer fiction. It’s saying, reality is horrible and your hopeful posting is deceptive to people who need to prepare, not hope.
