If it helps, I can definitely understand liking Sam Hyde and assuming the far right stuff was just more of his nihilistic trolling. I’m not judging you because I can see how I would have done the same. It took me fucking years to admit Morrissey was a piece of shit and I used to say the same kind of “oh I think he just likes kicking up trouble”. We all have to take our Ls now and again.

I was always confused by the Morrissey thing because I found it so hard to believe he was an enormous piece of shit given how poignant a lot of his lyrics are. I mean Vicar in a Tutu sounds like it’s a song about inclusiveness but I guess not lmao

Yeah that was basically my argument “Morrissey can’t be like that, his songs are literally about people on the outside of society” and then it got so fucking obvious I had to be like “ok so he’s basically a neo nazi”
