It’s pretty much the common term for women’s underwear here in the USA, which, like you said, has serious lolicon undertones and makes me feel weird and gross. Dunno if lingerie would be better, but I just call them underwear.

I used to wear these tight boxer briefs and my ex called them “manties” which we used to laugh and enjoy but oh well maybe thats gone now, so’s she, fuck it.

I’m down. Lingerie has too much of a sexual connotation, or at least comes with it the idea that they are designed for look more than long-term comfort or durability. Underwear is pretty neutral, undergarments seems too formal and “underclothes” is some medieval sounding shit.
