Food addiction is an addiction like any other really. I’ve noticed that a common thread with all addicts is trauma that’s unaddressed and makes them self-medicate over. It’s a no-brainer, but it’s 2022 and people out there still think addicts just do what they do for the hell of it.

I mean I’m not a doctor and this is my personal and anecdotal experience with most addicts having been in and out of the system for quite a while. When you think about, just life in the imperial core is a form of trauma in itself in a lot of ways too.
It’s morbidly fascinating to see how much junk food affects your mental health though
