Or is it just an unfalsifiable claim that’s used to move the goalposts when there’s not sufficient evidence for any of the signs or traits of a genocide? A genocide without deaths, refugees, dehumanizing propaganda, or willful misallocation of resources?

“Black” is a reduction of more ethnic diversity than exists between white and black people. Many Native Americans no longer speak their own languages as a result of residential schools and displacement, the material basis of their culture removed as they were forced out of their original territory. That alienation causes profound trauma that amounts to genocide while saving money on bullets. I’d consider cultural deprivation genocide and cultural reengagement to be a necessary aspect of rehumanisation.
