Ok in all seriousness I fucking hope this weird fetishization of crackers is only something that is solely confined to the extremely-online internet, and/or only within certain circles of the middle classes. Because unfortunately it exists deep within reddit at least, theres an entire racist sub dedicated to gay east asian men who consciously go for white dudes and scorn other east asian men because “muh superior race”.

asian women get shit for it because they’re more willing to act on those beliefs, to peaks of up to 3x more than the next racial demographic in the past. even this is understandable to a degree, but then to obscure their personal pursuit of material interests they collectively turn around and throw asian dudes under the bus as justification after the fact. miscegenation is merely a symptom, the primary contradiction here is the hypocrisy on display and inconsistency in the narrative. in all honesty things would be much less complicated if most of these people were just more straightforward regarding their racism but i guess an obsession with optics and a preference for liberalism is a self-reinforcing feedback loop.
