View all comments There’s this Italian philosopher that pretty much wrote a whole book about shitting on the snobby way of tasting wine, and pretty much saying that all of that is meaningless in the face of the potential for the taste and the experience of wine drinking to connect people with each other, with the earth, and with a different way of thinking. I attended a wine tasting led by him, and it was pretty cool, albeit bizarre.
