Maybe it’s needlessly pedantic, but honestly my biggest gripe with 3 is that everyone lives in trash. Why? It’s been 200 years, you don’t need to live in trash.
I would absolutely blow up Megaton to live in tenpenny tower so that I didn’t have to live in a goddamn landfill with a bunch of landfill people.
I only ever played a little bit of 1 (and haven’t yet played 2), but in the couple of settlements I saw in that game the people did not live in trash. They weren’t living super well, but they weren’t squatting in an open sewer either.
3Dog was offended that I let the ghoul underclass knock Tenpenny’s head off his shoulders. Well excuse me, guy from the radio, but I don’t think a strongly worded letter would do it. You don’t pitch a fit when I kill dozens of Talon PMCs, do you? Of course not, nobody counts PMCs.
