That is one interesting thing I’ve found about Chapo. Arguably, when a bunch of people with the same values get together, it should be a polarizing circlejerk. But on the other hand, when we share basically the same values, it allows for more nuance than when we have to worry about right-wingers around. You can “give an inch” without worrying that the other person will take a mile. Also, the disagreements tend to be on the level of how we achieve our goals, as opposed to what those goals are.
