I don’t know if this is accurate or not but I read that they’re hiding the serial number because it would indicate which bomb was supposed to have denoted that didn’t.
Could be bs though, I’d assume Russia knows if they hit a target or not.
Yeah but just a Russian bomb in a field would give them less information than a bomb with a serial number that might be linked to a specific target that could end up getting bombed again. I have no idea if that would actually make a difference or not or if that’s the actual reason they covered the bomb with a cloth.
Seems like a pretty obvious explanation to me. Why give an enemy more information than you have to?
