I wanna watch his Woke LOTR response but I think I’m too much of a Tolkien nerd and will feel dunked on
Yup, I tried and I’m too big of a nerd for this one. All white cast isn’t necessary for accuracy, especially considering the southern and eastern regions do actually play more into the second age events. It’s a big world and you traveled at the speed of walking but cultures moving, intermingling and whatnot is how Tolkien created linguistic realism. So like, not Hitler’s wet sream like the Jackson films could end out, but like, in a you’re gonna see less white dudes in China kinda way
