i don’t know what exactly they expect to happen. i think the reality they’ve created for themselves makes the question of outcomes irrelevant. it doesn’t matter to them that law is a question of power, not of wishing really really hard because they’re deranged evangelical christians who think they’ll get swept up in the coming rapture when the LORD recognizes that they fought the forces of evil with the true holy law of the land. until then, getting to maintain a sense of persecution is positive.
