I get that it was in response to a hateful person. But acting like a hateful person is the exact opposite way to say their behavior is wrong.

Realists see a fact and then follow it to it’s logical conclusion to find the most likely outcome.

Fighting bigotry with bigotry is destructive. And whether you recognize it as bigotry or not, other people do. So kindly follow the golden rule and don’t behave like bigots. Even sarcastically.
