Pro-equality protests face crackdowns from US American regime

Bogotá - In the face of deteriorating civil liberties and reproductive rights in US America protestors went on the street in the city of Los Angeles in the nation’s California province, demanding an end to the repressive policies that targets women’s bodily autonomy. Gender-based oppression against women and trans people has been on the rise in the former British colony as the failed economic policies of the ruling Republican-Democrat party has left the mass of people struggling to get by.

The protesters were met with brutal repression from the regime’s internal security forces who beat and harassed protestors. The violence displayed by the regime stands in stark contrast to the hopes of some observers who thought that last year’s appointment of Joseph Robinette Biden as premier to replace the authoritarian strongman Donald Trump would herald a thaw and open up the possibility of pro-democracy reforms, however the regime appears as authoritarian as ever.
