there’s a lot of weird coincidences like this people like to point to. For example, in the Big Lebowski (1998) The Dude signs a check on Sept 11th 1991 in the opening scene of the movie, while on the TV in the background, George HW Bush talks about the first gulf war.
In Terminator 2, Judgement Day (1991), during a chase scene involving a semi truck in the drainage ditches of Los Angeles, the truck crashes into, and explodes upon impact, at a bridge with a clearance of 9 foot 11.
not saying this “means” anything. It’s just that life is full of funny and interesting coincidences
There’s a “Trackdown” episode from the early 1960s about a con man named Trump who wants to build a wall, but is a charlatan. This could have frankly been in reference to Trump’s dad Fred, but is still pretty funny in hindsight.
Deus Ex had the twin towers destroyed by a terrorist attack before the game started.
IIRC someone had detonated a bomb in one of the tower’s basements in the 90s, so the devs were probably referencing that, but successful.
There was also a Hacker Thriller TV show called “The Lone Gunmen” whose pilot episode premiered in March 2001. The plot of the pilot episode was that a faction of weapons investors and lobbyists in a government think tank were planning on flying a plane into the World Trade Center
Now that’s spicy, considering things which were known and ignored.

Fun unrelated fact, the reason bush is on the TV in the background is because that press conference was in 1990; this is to show the viewers that he (the dude) is post-dating a check for $0.69 by over a year.
