So is there a single peep from western media about how Ukraine winning Eurovision for political reasons is a huge slap in the face for all the musicians that took part in what was supposed to be a music competition?

Have there been any complaints from the other teams? I’d be pissed off if I had spent a ton of effort making a performance only to have Ukraine win because of something unrelated to what the competition is about.

Imagine if in the Olympics they had given all the gold medals to Palestine because they’re at war with Israel, for example. It would conflict with the whole point of the games.
