Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict
Add to the above list if you can, thank you.
Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia’s youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Yesterday’s discussion post.
It feels like cheating but I could use some help on :reddit-logo:
r/chomsky has been overrun by liberals. put aside your sectarian beliefs about grampa chomskers and hope you will have fewer Ls when you’re in your 90s and answering every single troll that emails you.
You can probably figure out who I am but that’s besides the point, this little sub has been overrun by the worst kind of liberals and needs the cavalry to swarm the whole fucker.
Explaining why and how Chomsky is fascist should be required initiation into any kind of serious political debate.
I certainly get it, but my friend is a lib, so maybe you could explain it to them…. They’re right here.
That sub is basically unmoderated/full of posts that are directly contrary to Chomsky’s writings… not sure there’s much to salvage tbh.
Redditors are too far gone. Unless it’s users on SLS or Sino you aren’t going to fine any sympathetic ears
