as an american (:cringe: ) I don’t recall ever seeing an americas-centered mercator map before, it was the first thing that i noticed
That’s not a mercator map, it’s propaganda.
(hint: measure the distance between the southern edge and the equator, and then between the equator and the northern edge)
Most “mercator maps” aren’t even maps
