Man, I haven’t watched this show in years. Haven’t missed the forced jokes.
Decent episode, though obviously it can’t spend any time dwelling on what “housing as a human right” would mean, practically. Because, surely, it would have to mean the abolition of landlordism. Which would radically alter the real estate market. It would be a massive change, unimaginable under the current system, either political or economic. But this show can’t address that, and instead has to pretend that there’s some other solution, that someday folks will get their heads on right and just vote sensibly and then the good politicians will build a better world.
