For anyone not familiar with these terms, VoA and Radio Marti are US government (very closely tied to CIA) propaganda outlets, the latter being directed at Cuba. The USIA used to be the official arm of the US government that handles propaganda, until it was transferred over to the BBG/USAGM Broadcasting Board of Governors/US Agency for Global Media.

I was unaware of this connection before, so I thought I’d share it with you all.

EDIT: Would anyone else be interested in a research comm for stuff like this?

I didn’t know he tried to be CIA in the 80s. Know where I can find more info on that? I do know that Anderson Cooper interned for the CIA, which is weird.
