I read some of my state website shit, apparently for the presidential elections only the party you picked are on your ballot. So I only have dems or demsoc Bernie to vote for. There is a write in option, but it’s a literal wasted vote if they don’t count it.
If you register no party preference, it also seemed like you don’t get to vote for shit unless you specifically ask for the party to be on your ballot. Fucking liberals and their bureaucracy.
Apparently they tried to make it “open” in 96, but some fucker sued, and now it’s back to closed (can only vote for party affiliation).
