Holy crap. I don’t really know much about Richard Dreyfuss. All I know is that after Jaws he seemed like he was destined for great success and it didn’t happen. He had drug problem and then I assume he got blacklisted and performed in a lot of shitty movies and more and more of them as time went on. I felt bad for him even though I didn’t know the details.
In any case - I would have never guessed his son was such a turd. Poor guy. Unless I’m wrong about Richard and it’s a case of the turd apple falling from the turd tree.
The last movie I saw him in was Leaves of Grass, according to IMDb he at least seems to stay busy but his net worth is 5 mil so pretty poor by Hollywood standards I guess.
I first wrote “stardom” instead of “great success” but I realized I use that word out of habit. I meant I wish he had gotten better roles. I was in elementary school when Jaws came out and I looked forward to him being in more movies. And that feeling was very rare for me at that age. I usually didn’t give a damn about actors.
