I read somewhere that they explicitly wanted to get rid of all the magic stuff “because it’s for nerds” which is just awful because the most interesting part of the GoT world to me is seeing this low fantasy medieval bullshit fuckin’ pottery kingdom react to the reappearance of magic but instead we literally only have the dragons and a bit of Warlock shit that basically never comes up again after that weird little girl tries to assassinate daenerys

I heard Sam is gonna be a wizard in the books and that sounds fuckin’ awesome and so much cooler than whatever I expect to happen in the show (I haven’t finished it, lol)
