People obviously shouldn’t be imprisoned for marijuana regardless of anyone’s “western weed-smoking lifestyle”.
So you support these types of draconian anti-drug laws? I can understand why they exist, but it doesn’t make them right.

I’m actually going to say that any country that thinks it’s okay to lock people up for marijuana should change its drug laws. It’s a needlessly cruel punishment for a victimless crime and even if you want to argue that drugs are bad for society, it’s not like people aren’t still getting legally drunk.
I simply wouldn’t bring drugs to those countries if I didn’t want to die.
