I just purchased a small handgun that, once I know how to use it, I plan to concealed carry (ruger lcp max). I just picked up the gun, and have confirmed with my county that it’s registered. In order to conceal carry my state requires a course, and I’ve got a guy’s number who can provide that. Other than that, I think I’ll need the following:

-Holster (I’d like to get a pocket holster and one that can go around the waist under clothing)

-Ear and eye protection for the range

-Ammo

-Some kind of gun safe/locker (I travel frequently, so I’ve been looking at options that could fit in a chekced bag at the airport)

Do you all have any suggestions on where to get these items or any particular models you recommend? Or am I missing something else important?

Thanks in advance, I’m going to do all this research myself, but I’m aware that I don’t know anything about guns and am looking to not make any dumb mistakes/purchases. Thanks!
