I took half an edible last night (first time, 5 mg delta-9, 50 mg CBD total). It was around 10 pm when I took it, I went to bed at like 1 am, was pretty high. I got up this morning and thought I felt normal, but it’s been over 12 hours since I took that edible last night and I’m realizing I still feel a little goofy. Some brain fog, and kinda don’t care about stuff still. Is it possible for someone to have this long lasting an effect? When i was younger I got laughing gas at a dentist once, and had a really strong reaction too it (felt super good, didn’t care at all about the surgery, whereas other people in my family said it had no effect).

Guess I’m just trying to decide if I can do this stuff on a weeknight or not lol.

Yes, it is possible, especially with edibles. I’m a dirty stoner and while I don’t dabble with edibles the last time I took one I was pretty high the following morning.

Although 5 mg is nothing, you just popped your cherry so your tolerance is really low. In other words it’s very possible.

Your tolerance will increase and you’ll miss being able to get blasted like its your first time but yes, you will be fine and you won’t feel so groggy once you’re not a virgin.

Yeah. 10 PM is a little late for me for edibles. If I take them that late, I’m generally asleep right as they kick in and I wake up in the middle of the night in a daze to pee, then a foggy morning.

Yeah good to know, I’m in a weird living situation right now or else I probably would have started earlier.

Cool, that makes sense, guess I’ll live it up while I can lol. It’s wild though cause it’s almost been 24 hours now and I can still feel it lol.
