I still have absolutely no idea who Andrew Tate is or what he has done. Same thing with that guy named Caupin or something like that that people were mad at on Twitter. I could google it of course, but I really want to avoid teaching some algorithm that I am interested in these people, so I’m just gonna say fuck them whoever they are.

I think “Younger Alex Jones but replace conspiracy with pickup artist/misogyny” plus he’s got a pyramid scheme and sex trafficking allegations.

I’ll stick by my “fuck him whoever he is” and I have no interest in learning more about him.

He is not the first awful influencer briefly popular with teenagers, and he will not be the last. I’m gonna take the optimist approach and say that this guy, whoever he is, is just the latest flavor of awful and will not be an important name to remember.

Is he as large an influencer as :heated-gamer-moment: was? The worrying thing about :heated-gamer-moment: wasn’t that he was ideologically worse or more convincing than other influencers, it was his almost universal reach.
