On February 2, 2021, TMZ released a video recorded on January 31 showing Wallen using the [n-word] with friends as they were entering his Nashville home. He issued a statement apologizing for using the racial slur.

Modern radio country is just the right wing of the pop music industry.

The genre itself has radical routes and plenty of much smaller artists carrying on that tradition, in the same way pop hip hop and pop rock are mostly inane drivel while there’s good musicians who aren’t getting credited for the advancement of the art hidden from site

There’s some folk music that I adore, and I know there’s a lot of shared heritage there. Bluegrass is pretty great, too.
