How in the world would I coup the admins? It was a joke. Being a dev (I’m not really, I’ve contributed no code to the site, just a bit to lemmy) doesn’t give me some special power to make myself an admin. Any attempt to do so through the site’s code would never get accepted. I have literally no control over what code gets pushed.
Edit: also that had nothing to do with my ban, or if it did it wasn’t mentioned in the reason.
Idk saying “I legit wish we could coup the admins somehow” does not read like a joke and is in fact exactly what I would write if I wanted it to be read not like a joke what with the whole “I legit” modifier
