As opposed to the sanctions war, the first ever auto-embargo I can think of. Has any large military-national bloc ever before purposefully opted into energy scarcity and restrictions on their own energy import that jeopardized their own economies and productivity?
Imagine imperial Japan getting so angry they sanctioned US oil and collapsed their own empire. That is what the EU is doing here it is remarkable.

I’m seeing it happen every day and I still can’t really believe it. It’s like the years of watching the UK mindlessly shuffle in to Brexit, but far worse and happening in a matter of months. It’s honestly terrifying to see how fragile everything really is and how… stupid? Indocrinated? Indifferent? The world leadership really is.
If NATO sends forces China will join the party and we will have something far worse than the korean war but similar. Anglo-European elites would not accept a stalemate or a defeat out of their chauvinistic supremacist view of the world and would be forced to do some kind of occult economics work to declare and sustain a world war they cannot at this point pay or use nukes, so i absolutely doubt they will do it as well as you do.
