Are you talking about Hasan? Because his “spending habits” already sparked a couple struggle sessions in the past and yeah I think it is undeniable this hurts his position as a leftist.
But this decision got nothing to do with them, I reckon its just Twitch compensating for the gambling ban because of course they wouldn’t just lose millions of USD in revenue for nothing.
Hasan and Poki are “responsible” because they ‘campaigned’ to get gambling banned on twitch. So gambling addicted twitch streamers and their audience blames Hasan and Poki for getting gambling banned and the revenue restructuring.
This is my understanding as someone that does not watch any of the twitch streamers
Also revenue restructuring was coming for some time, YouTube did it years ago. It was only a matter of time before twitch followed
Obviously they are not responsible but twitch are exploiting any good action as cover for the bad which was entirely predictable
