As someone who owns an old tube amp this video singlehandedly ruined me :deeper-sadness:

Don’t. The amplifiers tone circuit was always what determines the tone of its sound, but even if you can dial several amps to sound the same there’s a value to having the same range of sound provided by yours.
It’s the reason comparison videos like these don’t do control sweep comparisons or use the foot switches like normal people do.
If you still feel bad, buy a quality clone to gig with and keep your antique safe at home (where it can appreciate in value).
