My gf has apparently never been exposed to hot sauce before but it turns out she likes it, I don’t know much about hot sauces in general though because i’ve got a severe case of Cracker Mouth. I like a little bit of spice but even slightly too much is very unpleasant, I start getting hiccups and stuff.

Anyway, just wondering what some good options to get for her to try would be. I’ve got some sriracha and she just went through a whole bottle of Cholula hot sauce (which according to the ingredients is the exact same as sriracha except with pequin and arbol peppers instead of jalapenos) which I’m pretty sure she prefers.

The Sambal oelek sriracha makes is god-tier. It’s on the mild side for my personal best preferences, but mixing it into a scramble is delicious.

Melinda’s makes a variety of heat levels and styles, and all of the ones I’ve tried have been good so far in terms of flavor and advertised heat matching expectations albeit the super-hots are toned down a bit for flavor purposes.
