PCM is a very reactionary subreddit. Most of the posts are “the left is destroying western culture” memes and a lot of the posts just outright glorify fascists and fascism.
It’s for children and people who treat politics like a game. Anybody who is principled in their respective ideology wouldn’t be caught dead in that clowntown
Fascists have no principles and are happy to play games and flatten all context, so they thrive there. What could be better framing for a fascist, than a system which they are equally as valid and moral and logical as anyone else? What could be a better and more malleable audience than children “ironically” playing a game but internalizing its lessons? All their past misdeeds and libidinal death drive forgotten.
Honestly it’s even worse than that. I absolutely treat electoral politics like a game, like sports. It’s the only way to stay somewhat sane. They treat ideology as a game, like it can be traded about like cards or if ‘well this season black mana decks are abit overpowered so I should be that’.
It’s a toxic idea that even the platonists recognized as corrosive to social fabric.
