I hate to be a fucking nerd but if you live in a swing district this election will actually matter if they are proposing shit kind of shit; fuck the goddamn Dems for letting it get to this shit. Also find community and join any sort of Orgs you can, there is safety in numbers. If your mental health is good enough, get a gun; even if this shit doesn’t pass half the reason they do this shit is to ratchet up stochastic terrorism. Important to note that this bill applies to ALL LGBTQ+ people.
So gay people mentioning their spouses would be considered “exposure to sexual orientation”
Then this should apply to a straight teacher who has a picture of their spouse on their desk, as that is just as much as an exposure to sexual orientation as what is mentioned above. Of course that’s not how this would be enforced, but it’s worth pointing out.
