Fuck the proposition system it’s not the people’s job to write laws in a representative democracy. Yes some props marginally improve things or otherwise can be seen as “good”, but the system as a whole is just another tool for painting consent. The majority of props are like a mini “do you want Kamala or do you want Pence?” decision it’s pathetic.
A prop will be like “we’ll feed some starving children but we’re obviously taking most of the money” and it’s like wtf enough - put a name behind these monstrosities
The mere fact that Uber can put a prop on the ballot to repeal a law that was already passed specifically targeting them is evidence enough to be rid of them
