Even if you entertain this idea, we let adults smoke cigarettes and do all kinds of dumb surgeries that we don’t let kids do. Nonsensical argument.
It’s all nonsensical. They’re not arguing from reason or even any kind of coherent emotional state. They just hate who they’re told to hate and very few ever interogate that. It’s like the Libs with Russia and China. Totally reactionary, reflexive hatred about countries they have no interaction with and no influence over.
This argument requires rolling back to the old DSM assessment that being trans is a mental illness in order to justify it. So I expect they will target that eventually.
Intervening with people who are mentally compromised is considered morally justified and is a simple path to achieving it.
A lot of the battle over trans people comes down to the previous notion that it was a mental illness vs the newer updated view of it. If the pillar can be upheld that trans people aren’t mentally ill for long enough then the new pillar will replace it and eventually normalise, they don’t want that.

They very literally believe that it’s a divine commandment and anyone who resists them is in the thrall of Satan. The whole world view is based on delusion. Entirely consistent with how Chuds and many Liberals treat minorities, the homeless, any religion they don’t follow, femmes with blue hair. The mere existence of the other is unacceptable; They must be removed and/or destroyed.
