Nah, I’m sure it’s more common than that. Honestly that’s been my biggest concern, that credit reporting agencies would start selling “detection” services to employers who are too nosy (if someone’s getting all their work done, who gives a fuck?) and that might be a problem for me… The other big concern was doing the W-4 properly so I didn’t owe a lot of taxes and doing the 401k deposits correctly to not go over for the year.
