They’re not looking for left wing, they’re looking for an improvement in their own lives, which every president promises but never delivers on. Conservatives are just happy with receiving scraps and will cheer and commit murder for scraps.
I agree with what you’re saying but how many of these people benefit from the scraps the Republican party doles out, namely in the form of lower taxes? I don’t really know the answer to that.
Nah it’s more that most are burnt out from this shit, Gen Z from what I know of via relatives and a couple younger coworkers is still in the electoralism is going to change things stage. As for republicans part? Meh I think the expected red wave was never going to materialize both from Covid cleaning out way too many long time republican voters, as well as the GOP actually boosting somewhat Dem electoral ability via the RoeVWade snafu that only evangelicals were truly happy for with libs, centrists, and even many republicans getting pissed off.
