We have to maintain a healthy circulation of babies as well as the large pots to boil them in, otherwise the economy will stagnate, also we can’t actually produce glasses in-country since that would be nerd-shit, so we need to export raw silicates and import ground glass and frames. One day, we will hopefully achieve a moderate level of prosperity, where every family has their own induction-heated baby-boiler.
