People say they taste like lobster. I think this is a bit of an exaggeration but I can see where they’re coming from, definitely in texture.
Neat! So if I have this straight they’re bee feeders that keep out yellow jackets and wasps because bees can navigate mazes?
From what I understand, stametz had said that he believes that certain fungi in trees serve to inoculate bee colonies against some diseases, theorizing this is why bees build their nests on trees.
So, he is using these feeders to grow fungi, attract bees, so that they can be inoculated further by fungi when their nests aren’t in trees as well.
