I think you’ll find there’s very few people in the community that disagree with the idea of respecting pronouns.
The only reason this big struggle session is a thing tonight is because a bunch of threads popped up insisting that everyone who hadn’t set pronouns on their bios were harming trans people - and anyone who was remotely confused about that had a bunch of overly aggressive stuff thrown at them. There’s no need to go about telling people that; they’re a token, a transphobe, that their experiences of mental health issues and trans issues are unwanted.
Taking an overly aggressive angle in what should be a friendly space upset a bunch of people.
