View all comments Ive seen quite a few people choke to death from COPD, and its not a very cool way to die. The people are always very scared and in a lot of pain. I see so many smokers with chronic, lifelong, eventually fatal health issues from smoking. Cigarettes are absolutely barbaric and should be banned.

It’s not about being fucked up. As a former smoker and current vaper, it’s almost literally the only stressor I have any degree of control over and as a byproduct of that the stress I can’t control gets relieved as a knock on effect of the addiction stress being overcompensated for when relief comes (yay our brains are totally logical)
