Does coffee cause lung and bone cancer and have the ability to harm people though second and third hand exposure and make them ill too?
The main problem with cigarettes is not the harm they cause to the person uses them (though that is a problem, it’s a personal one for smokers to figure out), it’s their ability to harm the environment and people around them.
I have lots of friends that smoke, and I can’t even talk with them while they smoke because the second hand smoke is so bad that it makes my throat sore for days afterwards. I can’t even get in their cars at times, even if they’re not smoking, because of the smell and chemical build up (I think that’s called third hand smoke).
I don’t agree with banning cigarettes but you cannot compare it to coffee. And I don’t even drink coffee either.
