in-store dining at 7-11

I’ve eaten quite a lot of gas station food in my time, and you gotta set your standards reeeeeeal low to want to sit down and eat at a 7-11. Even a high quality convenience store like Wawa where you can get legitimate sandwiches - those aren’t “sit down and eat here” quality, they’re “take with you to where you’re going” quality.

The selling alcohol thing though, who cares? Lots of places in the US ban alcohol sales and it just increases traffic and car accidents because everyone just has to drive slightly further to get their drinks (not to mention people who are half in the bag and want to go out and get more).

This could very well just be a public service. Anyone who wanders in and sits down for a dine-in meal where your food is brought to you at a 7-11 will instead be greeted by a therapist who begins going through the DSM-V test for depression symptoms and PTSD.
