** Rant:**
I went on r/tankiejerk because I hate myself, and there was a post about an obvious comment ‘the DOTP requires authority’. Nobody was able to understand that the post meant authority in regards to suppressing the bourgeois and bourgeois-sympathetic classes. The post was tagged “the people’s stick”, making fun of the nonsensical nature of this phrase. The only problem? LENIN LITERALLY ADDRESSES THIS IN STATE AND REV AND SAYS THAT THE PHRASE IS ONLY BEING USED BY PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW WHAT THEYRE TALKING ABOUT “The 'free people’s state was a programme demand and a catchword current among the German Social-Democrats in the seventies. This catchword is devoid of all political content except that it describes the concept of democracy in a pompous philistine fashion… Consequently, every state is not 'free” and not a ‘people’s state’. Marx and Engels explained this repeatedly to their party comrades in the seventies” (p. 16). It’s :wonder-who-thats-for: to the highest degree. Engels did this too in Anti-Duhring, “This gives the measure of the value of the phrase ’a free people’s state’, both as to its justifiable use for a long time from an agitational point of view, and as to its ultimate scientific insufficiency” (p. 301-303). ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS READ. And nobody has pointed this out which means not a single person on the sub has read the first 20 pages of one of Lenin’s most popular texts. Then there is the tag “CIA good when it agrees with me”, which is a literal child’s understanding of why you cite the CIA as an ML. It’s only cited to show the CIA contradicting their own narratives, that’s it. It’s so outrageously simple. I swear to god I am more and more convinced the US needs to be wiped off the map.
