Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia’s youtube channel and their map. I recommend their map more than the channel at this point, as an increasing subscriber count has greatly diminished their quality.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources. Beware of chuddery.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are fairly brainworm-free and good if you don’t want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. The Duran, of which he co-hosts, is where the chuddery really begins to spill out.

Who wants to post about how much of a fun shitshow the Bradley’s were back in the day?
Even if all the problems with the Bradley were figured out now, have fun sending a ton of IFVs from Poland to the front and then back to Poland again because there’s no way the Ukranians are going to repair it, at most I’d see the US send 100 Bradleys in, aka too few, and getting 60 back because 5 were sold to a third party and the rest were left in a field because logistics becomes incredibly hard when your infrastructure is getting destroyed.
Ironically the US should’ve sent the big stuff first and now would’ve been the time for the smaller infantry equipment like the Javelins, remember that weapon that was going to change it all?
Well, it would’ve been smarter to send all of that equipment that’s easier to use in the beginning since that would’ve given the Ukrainian armed forces more options to both defend and mount the attack as - in general terms - man-portable equipment tend to primarily be used in defensive purposes as they are meant to be dispersed over a wider front whereas mechanized equipment is for the offensive purposes as they are meant to be used in concentrated points and Frontline support equipment such as artillery, drones, aircraft etc, are used for both offensive and defensive purposes.
Because the Ukraine got fed equipment piecemeal over the past year the amount of equipment lost - whatever the reasons may be - significantly blunts their ability to launch offensives on entrenched positions. Which is not including the increasing level of damage inflicted to their infrastructure and logistics networks.
