I use the metal pizza cutter to yank the over rack in a quick motion, giving the pizza enough momentum to slide halfway onto a cutting board, then use the cutter again to nudge the rest of the pizza directly onto the cutting board. No sense in getting melted cheese, sauce, etc. on a kitchen towel or oven mitt.
I did a similar thing. I used to just use the knife that I would use to cut the pizza to drag the pizza out a bit so that the crust was grabbable and then just use my hand to pull it onto the cutting board :shrug-outta-hecks: but my hands also have a high tolerance for heat
